80th Anniversary for VE Day Event

The event was held on the 8th May 2025 at Dunkirk Village Hall and was well attended by over 100 people. The event included wartime songs sung by pupils of Canterbury Academy. The Chair Cllr Kemp read the tribute at the lighting of the beacon and all sung I Vow to thee my Country. Refreshments were provided by the Boughton and Dunkirk Village Group. Our thanks go to all those that supported the event.
