Jeff was co-opted to the council on Monday 18th October 2010.

He was re-appointed in May 2019 and May 2023 in an uncontested election.

In May 2019, Jeff was re-elected Chair of the Council for the year 2019-2021. In December 2021 Jeff decided that at the January 2022 Full Council Meeting he would step down as the Chair of the Parish Council.
